Hello everyone, I'm trying to study about ODC and I was just wondering if there is a way for us developers to have our own personal environment for us to have a sandbox to play around?
Hi Ceejay
Yeah you can. Kindly use this link to schedule your ODC training
https://www.outsystems.com/ODCTraining/Schedule
Currently there are no slots available for this. But every month outsystems will open those slots.
So kindly press toggle button to receive notifications when slots are available.
Once you register your slot, they will provide you the ODC environment for a week, You can use that week to learn ODC and after completing the exercises given by them you will get ODC ready badge also.
Or else you can contact sales team purchase your paid version also

I hope it will help you

Hi Ceejay,
Currently OutSystems does NOT provide free personal environments with equal usage rules as OutSystems 11.
As stated in the previous reply, you can only, when training slots are available have a 2 week access to ODC to do the training.

Daniel
Hi,
Is there any update on the status of Personal Environments in ODC? Is there a plan to provide Personal Environments for ODC? A two week window isn't long enough to actually learn a product and certainly isn't long enough to fully evaluate ODC. It seems to me that not providing Personal Environments could adversely impact adoption. Can OutSystems confirm one of the following?
1. There will never be Personal Environments in ODC.
2. There will be Personal Environments in ODC, but the availability date is unknown.
3. The anticipated availability date for Personal Environments.
Thanks for the update.
I join @Karen McCarthy with the same questions.
One or two weeks training is NOT enough to evaluate ODC for a possible adoption.
Thanks.
No personal environment means the ODC will not growth rapidly as no developer to explore
"Given enough eyes, all bugs will be shallow"..no enough eyes..many bugs :)
Yeah, Without hands-on experience it is really difficult to learn and fix problems efficiently.
People need a playground to experiment and learn before committing to a platform. Hopefully, OutSystems reconsiders this to boost engagement and innovation.
ODC Access is available for everybody for free, see: ODC Shared
