[Ultimate PDF] Footer not rendered on specific pages

Hi,

We have been using Ultimate PDF Print Layout for generating pdf contracts with headers and footers. We have observed that on certain pages, the footer is not getting rendered. In all other pages, the footer is rendering properly. We have also observed that there is a pattern in this issue. The footer is strangely not getting rendered at every 4th page (like page 4, page 8, page 12 and so on) and also on the last page.

Initially we were thinking it to be an issue with the CSS layout of the content, however, it is not as even if we put less content in those pages (say 1 or two lines), even then the footer is not getting rendered on those specific pages. Also the last page of the generated document always has contents equivalent to half of the page.

Has anyone else faced similar issue and found any solution?

Cheers !

Shounak

Hi Leonardo,

It seems that the issue got fixed with the latest version of the ultimate PDF. However, I have observed a very different weird issue even with the latest version. I will start a different forum thread for that.

Kind regards,

Hi Shounak.

Can I ask you to install Ultimate PDF Management, and download execution logs of the report? That will download a zip file with logs and intermediate files. If you could share at least the html and pdf files inside of the zip, that would be perfect.

Thank you.

Hi Leonardo,

Thank you for your response. I have observed that we have Ultimate PDF ver 10.0.3 in our environment. And the current version of the Ultimate PDF Management tool is not compatible with that.

Will it be okay if we force install this? Or which version of the Management tool should be compatible with the version that we are having in our environment?

Is there a chance that our problem is resolved already in the latest version as we don't feel we are using a very old version. 10.0.3 was just released 2 weeks ago.

We'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,

Shounak

Hi. That 10.0.3 version is not the version that is installed on your environment. Instead, it's the version required by Ultimate PDF Management.

You can try to install a previous version of the component. Try 8.0.3, it will probably work for you. If it fails with broken references, then try version 7.0.0, etc.
