Hi All,
We are developing traditional web based application by using Outsystems 11. We are looking forward to setup the maintenance window for our application.
We are integrating the backend API to fetch all the records for frontend in Outsystems. Sometimes we may get backend server error due to memory shortage or dependent software may goes down. So, during this time we have to show the maintenance page in our web application.

We tried to use the above article, after setting up the maintenance window. It's not working fine, please share your thoughts on this.
Thanks in advance!
@Anand Rajagopal ,
Hi, I had a somewhat similar app in the past, and from what I understand you don't lose any access to your Outsystems environment, you simply fetch data from a backend system in your apps screens and you want to put your app into maintenance in case the backend system is having problems and does not provide any data for your app. I highly suggest this forge component: https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/9295/maintenance-manager
After some initial setup on your app, with a simple click you can make your app go into maintenance with a customizable maintenance screen.
Let me know if this helped,
Paulo
Hi @Paulo Ritto ,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! We had been developed traditional website by using Outsystems.
Shared forge component looks like reactive. Does it work on traditional Outsystems?
Thanks,
Anand
Hi, yes the component itself is a reactive app, but it can issue maintenance mode to any reactive/traditional/mobile apps!
Let me know if this helps and if so, mark the answer as solution so more users with same problem can refer back to this.
Cheers,
Hi @Anand Rajagopal ,
Any news regarding your topic? Was the component helpful?
I am trying to implement this plugin in traditional web application. Is there any easiest way of implementation document.
thanks,
Hi,
I just want to check this component, but it is not showing the Download button to me. any idea?
Hi @Jitender Gaur ,
Yes, for me as well. I though I should check with our Outsystems Administrator.
