Without seeing how you have implemented the module in situ its hard to give any definitive solutions.

My advice would be to verify references to the module of whatever action you are using to generate the JSON that is shown in your example. Additionally I would make sure that if its using a pass through table or structure that you added the field to that as well.

Finally, on the JSONSerialize function, if you're using that method, verify that 'serialize default values' is set to yes.
