Navigation\DEPRECATED_Submenu in "Build A List Screen Exercise"
Question

The current widget is DEPRECATED in the "Build a List Screen Exercise"

Although I tried to Apply the new dependecy from Navigation/Submenu, it requires an OnClick definition I was not able to set up

Solution

Can you refresh the OutsytemsUI Module in your dependencies or is it already up to date ?

Hello,

It should not be a problem to change the Deprecated Widget by the new one:

First go to the dependenies of the OutsystemsUI Module and select the updated widgets

Ex.Submenu:

Then Find the Usages of the Deprecated Widget

Then change the source block

Hope this helps !

Regards

Thanks for yor support @Thibaut G. I had already reached this point by a different method (seraching the updated submenu widget in the left side widget picker and then replacing manually the widget in the screen).

However, with both methods of widget substitution,  a new error appears with both methods. When publishing after the widget substitution OS arises a new error; "new broken or missing references were found"

Please consider I am an absolute newbie in OS and honestly I wasn't capable to find out the ONCLICK reference that causes the new error.

Thanks a lot for your help again !!!!
