Webinar on How to consume Microsoft Graph API in OutSystems

Iam planning to host a webinar on "How to consume Microsoft Graph API endpoints in OutSystems" as once in while i read that people struggle with it.

Topics

Microsoft Graph API Authentication and Authorization

  • Overview of various OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization flows and when to use which.
  • How to register an application with Microsoft Identity Provider.
  • How to grant permissions to your application or user to specific Graph API endpoints.
  • Special considerations when using application-level permissions.

OutSystems Implementation

  • Retrieving access tokens for applications and users
  • Adding and consuming Graph API REST endpoints to OutSystems applications
  • Handling Refresh Tokens in Authorization Code flows
  • Essential Forge components

Edit 03.11.2023

I decided to split the topic into two webinars. In the first part we build an end-to-end sample for consuming Microsoft Graph API as application (so without a user context). In the second webinar - December - we will do the same on behalf of a user. The first part is considered a prerequisite to the second.
