I manage to send notifications using OneSignal when the app is open (I catch the notifications with the OneSignalOnNotificationReceived and OneSignalOnNotificationOpened callback methods), but when the app is closed (not in focus) I got nothing. I'm attaching a screenthot from the app permissions.

The screenshot indicates that the app has permissions for notifications set correctly, but if notifications aren't coming through when the app is not in focus, you may need to check a few things:

Thanks. I will go ahead and check one by one. As the mobile device does receive notification of other apps (whatsapp for example) while they are closed, I guess that the phone battary preferences is not the issue.
