Hi, people.

Here's a PowerPoint template for building an Information Architecture(IA), with the usual shapes.

The thing I most like about building an IA in PowerPoint (or Visio) is the ability to enrich this representation visually with main actions and other snippets of information, not possible in other tools, which truly support communication.

Building an IA up-front, or along with the screen mockups, is a great way to think through what the application is and what structure makes more sense. It's also a great tool to analyze UI path costs and fine-tune the labelling.
