Using Aggregates in Form Fields
Question
Application Type
Reactive

Quick question as I've never really questioned it before.

When we assign aggregate attributes to input form fields to hold data prior to saving it in the DB what are we actually doing and how does it work?

Is each aggregate field being treated as a local variable?

Solution

yes, they are (i would say local) variables, if you are curious, you could investigate this by sending your $public of your screen or block to the console, and explore there,  you will find your aggregate content side by side with your other local variables.

you can also work with them (like changing their value) like you can with other variables.

see attached oml
