Who is eligible to take these exams?

These exams are designed for individuals on the path to becoming a Professional Web and Mobile Developer in ODC.

The Architecture Specialization Exam is intended for certified Associate Developers (ODC) seeking to validate their understanding of OutSystems Developer Cloud Architecture fundamentals.

The Mobile Developer Specialization Exam is aimed at certified Associate Developers (ODC) or Associate Reactive Developers (O11) who wish to validate their knowledge of mobile-specific app development in OutSystems.

How will this work?

With these two Specialist badges available for ODC, we are now opening the path to becoming a Professional Web and Mobile Developer in ODC. 

The path for ODC is similar to the one for O11 and the Architecture and Mobile Developer Specialization are important parts of the ODC path. The Professional Web and Mobile certifications for ODC will be granted automatically, just like the ones for O11, as soon as the last Specialist badge is obtained. The main difference is that the Mobile Developer Specialist has one badge and exam that is common to both paths.

What if I already have the Architecture and Mobile Developer Specialist badges for OutSystems 11?

Developers who have earned the Mobile Developer Specialist badge for OutSystems 11 are automatically certified for OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) as well. This means that your skills in mobile development are recognized across both O11 and ODC platforms without the need for additional certification. Please note that you will not receive a new badge; your Mobile Developer Specialist badge is now compatible with both versions. 

However, the Architecture Specialization exam for ODC is new and is not compatible with the OutSystems 11 Specialist badge.

How can you get ready?

The best way to prepare for the ODC Architecture Specialization exam is to attend the brand new ODC Architecture Boot Camp and the Get Ready for the ODC Architecture Specialist Exam journey. Here, you'll find all the necessary information to be well-prepared for the exam, including recommended journeys, documentation, and talks. Additionally, you will have access to the topic breakdown, along with a sample test to help you get ready. 

The best way to prepare for the Mobile Developer Specialization exam is to attend the Mobile Developer Boot Camp, which has a brand new version for ODC, and follow the Becoming a Mobile Developer journey.
