Hey fellow OutSystems (OS) developers,
I have been thinking of building out an OS tutorial base to sit inside a community.
The courses would go through everything from basic to advanced development.
The aim of this is to have a very affordable hub for early developers to go, in case they are unsure how to do something, and learn. This would result in less asks for help from junior developers, allowing the more senior developers to keep focus on their work instead of shifting focus often. We all know what this does to workflow...
If this is something of interest, then please let me know.
Hello Maximilian,How will this differ from OutSystems Bootcamps
Hey Ahmed,
Bootcamps last a few days, these courses would be accessible whenever you want, as long as you are a member inside the community.
The price would also be far cheaper.
Sounds like a good idea.
The OutSystems community here already contains various free learning paths for the beginners and courses for more intermediate topics. In addition there are hundreds of blog posts with tutorials and sometimes sample applications published on Forge. No offense, but looking at your account you haven't done any of the training material available and you do not have a footprint in community collaboration. What would it be that you bring into your idea?
Best
Stefan
Hi Stefan,
This is my personal account, I have all my training done on my work account.
I am 4 years in to developing with OS, and have noticed there really isn't any video-course content on OutSystems out there, aside from bootcamps etc.
I'm no expert, but I definitely have enough knowledge to be able create a hub for junior developers to hone their skills.
Hi @Maximilian Winter-Leinweber,
Greetings!
You want to do something like paid video content, is it? Like 'Udemy' have? I'm just trying to understand how your idea is going to bring something unique..
Best Regards,Ananya
