Hello,
i try to build up a lifetime team structure for NON Software Developer IT members.
What i have so far:
- Default role "Access" to only have access to the system and "add System Dependencies"
- Team Role "Ext_IT_Developer" which has the following permissions
- I created a team for this group of people and assigned them with the appropriate role
- User Role is "Access"
- Team Role is "Ext_IT_Developer"
- No Applications assigned
What i want to achieve is that they can create their own applications but dont see any others.
If i try it with this setting of roles i get an error when i want to create an application.
What am I missing?
Thanks and BR,
Albert
My solution is working, the only thing i have overseen is, that they can only create the applications in Lifetime not in Service Studio.
So only access is fine and after they create the application in lifetime also it is automatically associated to their team.
Hello @Albert Rasinger,
As per my knowledge outsystems not provided feature, they can create their own applications but don't see any others.
If users assign Change and Deploy Permission, then he will see other applications as well on the Environment.
And you provided - Default role "Access" to only have access to the system and "add System Dependencies". You have change this role to higher privileges then only they are able to create Apps.

Hi Prabhu,
this means the Change and Deploy with Create Applications permission has to be on user level in order for this to work?
But then they would see all Applications in development which I dont want.
Also according to this article this should be possible.https://success.outsystems.com/documentation/11/managing_outsystems_platform_and_application_lifecycle/manage_it_users/control_who_creates_applications/
@João Bento can you give more information about if i missunderstood something?
Hello Albert,
Yes, as per that document, they have mentioned Junior Developer has Change and Deploy role with don't has permission to create Application.
Architect has has Change and Deploy role with he has permission to create Application.
So please see below snapshot, Architect has able to create Applications but Junior developers are able to create only Modules inside that created application.
If we provided create permissions, then users should see all other applications as well.
