Application Type
Reactive
Platform Version
11.18.1 (Build 37828)

Hello,

Our current PRD environment has two Deploy Zones (Internet and Intranet) set upAt first, we only had an Internet server, and the Intranet was later installed.

As below screenshot, Advanced Excel (downloaded from Forge), BK File (developed by ourselves), and OutSystems UI have already been installed on the P environment.

Recently, we need to deploy the LHI, NEWLHI, OutSystems UI, and Reactive Editable Table in red box to the intranet of the P environment.Due to the use of Advanced Excel in the aforementioned apps, during the Validate phase, we would like to deploy version 0.2 of Advanced Excel to PRD as well. And BK File also uses Advanced Excel, so it will be included in the Validate process; The new version of BK File is still being tested in other environments and will only be released later. Therefore, we hope to maintain the use of 0.1 version of Advanced Excel in the PRD internet.

May I ask: If we choose to ignore the Errors in the above screenshot during the Validate phase, will it affect the BK files that are already in the PRD Internet by deploying all other apps to the PRD intranet, except for BK files? (For example, like in a REG environment, there is no refresh dependency, which makes it unusable) .

Best Regards,

Bobo

Basically as long as you do not deploy BK File to production ( or redeploy ) it will still refer to the old version of Advanced Excel component.  So you ignore the error and  continue.  Also you can raise a ticket with OutSystems for a confirmation.

btw I can see that you have error in BK File in REG environmet.

Hi Siya

Thank you for your reply.

We want to make sure that if we deploy new version of Advanced Excel, it will not impact BK File? Is it because we deploy to different deploy zone?

Thank you & Best Regards,

Bobo
