Architecture Certification

Hello Everyone!

I'm currently studying to get the Architecture OutSystems Specialization, however, while reading documentation and watching guided path videos regarding Integration Patterns in Core layers, I could noticed the Patterns names are different between both information sources. Therefore, my question is: What source should I take in consideration to study to the exam?

Many thanks!

Hello Jose,

Can you give an example? The platform has evolved over the time so it's normal to have some different naming and wording. The concept behind them are usually not changed, only name wise.

Hey!

Thanks for your answer!
Some examples are: In the guided path we have Integration Patterns for Core : Core Entity Pattern, External Core Service (ERC) patterns - Local Replica, Isolated Synchronization logic, Direct integration, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) (documentation does't talk about it), Summary cache only, Lazy load. While in the documentation: Direct integration, Cold Cache Summary Data (not mentioned in the guided path), Cold Cache with Batch Sync, Isolate synchronization logic, Real-Time Sync, Queued real-time sync, Ordered real-time sync and Lazy Load Details.
Those in bold don't have match between sources.

Thanks again!

Best regards!

Hello

For your Architecture OutSystems Specialization exam, you should prioritize the official OutSystems documentation and guided path videos provided by OutSystems. These resources are designed to align closely with the exam content. If there are discrepancies between the documentation and the guided path videos, the documentation is typically the most reliable source.

i hope it helps!
