setting up email using gmail

trying to setyp email using gmail . used smtp.gmail.com
while port no used was 465. used application password as well as gmail password for the same but no email was received.
on service centre under monitoring , getting the error below -

Hi Saif,

I have been using Gmail for a long time without issues.
Difference with your configuration is that I'm using port 587.
