Hi All,
I am running into some problems when using the Ctrl + F native search function in a textarea field (browser is Edge). The textarea contains a large xml, which causes it to overflow. If you would use Ctrl + F to search, it does find certain words in the xml, but does not 'jump' to them. If i would display this xml in an expression inside a container where it overflows, it does 'jump' to the matching items. Also, using Page Up and Page Down inside of the textarea results into strange behavior in conjunction with the tabs i have (the page gets all scrambled up). Also, after using Ctrl + F inside the textarea, the tabs become unresponsive. I have made a schematic display for more clarity of the situation.
If anyone has experience with this, help would be appreciated!
Hi @Jori Lam,
I tried the same,
In MS Edge CTRL+F search is not working properly inside textarea but when I tried same in Chrome It is working Fine. I think this issue is relative to specific Browser version/Broswer.
Hope this will help you.
Kind regards.Sanjay Kushwah
Hi Sanjay,
Thanks for your reply,
unfortunately, due to my client's policy, they are bound to use Edge.
