With one of the last 2-3 updates, the scanning window was reduced significantly which makes it incredibly difficult to scan longer barcodes.
On iOS specifically, the Barcode Plugin does not provide the ability to zoom out either. Is there a way to increase the scanning window? Preferably use the whole screen

Thank you for the feedback. Can you share with us an example of such a barcode, so we can have a look?
Regarding the zoom-out ability on iOS, this is indeed possible but it depends on the device (probably this isn't available on yours).
The plugin doesn't provide any way to increase the scanning window.

Thanks for getting back to me.
The device that I'm using specifically is the 6th generation iPad. Some of the barcodes are at least 20cm in width, which makes it very difficult to scan.
This was previously not a problem as the previous version of the plugin had a much larger scanning window as seen on the screenshots attached. We needed the latest version to solve issues regarding scanning certain symbology's, so reverting back is not possible.
I understand your pain. We're already analysing this internally to see how can we provide some kind of fix for this.
