Tag partner on profile's project
Created on 02 Apr 2020
Renato Nascimento

Most of us work in teams. When we share out projects on our profile, it would be nice if we could tag another community member that worked with us on the same project. There could have some 'approval request' so the other partner could approve that project on their profile too.

AI-Powered Module for Idea Submission in OutSystems Forms
Created on 18 Sep 2024
Kerollos Adel

To improve the user experience and reduce redundant submissions in the OutSystems Ideas forum, I propose adding an AI-powered module to the idea submission forms. This module would help developers avoid duplicates, suggest relevant tags, and enhance the overall quality of submissions. Key Features: Duplicate Title Detection When a user enters a title, the AI module will scan the existing submissions to find and display similar or identical titles. This will help prevent duplicate ideas from being posted. Developers will be presented with a list of potential matches and can review them before finalizing their submission, reducing repetitive posts. Tag Suggestion Based on the title and description entered by the developer, the AI module will suggest appropriate tags. This ensures that the idea is properly categorized, making it easier to find and increasing visibility for relevant audiences. Tags can be accepted, modified, or added by the developer, allowing for flexibility while ensuring relevance. Description-Based Duplicate Check After the developer submits their idea description, the AI will also scan the content of existing submissions to find similar ideas based on the description, providing another layer of duplicate prevention. This feature will further reduce the chance of redundant ideas being posted, ensuring that unique contributions are highlighted.

Tag applications which are system or forge in System entity/API
Created on 14 Mar 2025

In O11, for the Application system entity, is it possible to have 1 more attribute 'IsSystemOrForge'? Or some other ways or references that we will be able to filter off systems and forge applications? For the CreatedBy attribute, i noticed that, if i am the one who downloaded the forge, it will be consider CreatedBy myself. Am guessing nothing we can do about this, because it doesn't make sense to indicate the actual owner Id of the forge component Same thing for ODC API. The closest i can see, is the portfolio API GET/deployed-assets

AI-Powered Translation Integration
Created on 26 Aug 2024

To simplify the process of adding new languages, it would be highly beneficial to incorporate AI-powered translation as a feature. When a developer adds a new language, the system could automatically generate initial translations using AI. This would provide developers with a solid starting point for localization, which they could then review and modify as needed. By integrating AI translation, developers could save time, reduce manual effort, and accelerate the process of expanding their application into new languages, while still maintaining control over the final translations.

Making parent structure public will automatically set belongs all child structure as public
Created on 07 Jan 2024

It would be nice to have functionality in Service Studio, by setting parent structure public property to yes will automatically set a child structure public property to yes , or give a list of child structures and a button to change as public yes for those childs. Reason : I created a structure using json from my json response and it created some structures based on the inputs. I need to expose my parent structure to other means. Once I tried to set public as yes, I only let all the child structure change manually.

Incoherence - Opening a module when we are inside another module
Created on 28 Jul 2023

When we are inside an opened module and we want to open a consumer of that module through right click, the module opens but the application of that module is lost on the tab name. Inside a module to open a consumer: Consumer is opened: If we try to open the same module but through CTRL+O or in the arrow on the right side the module is opened with the application between parentheses. Module opened through CTRL+O: I think this can benefit developers because in some project management it is necessary to indicate which applications have been changed to facilitate the deploy process, especially if we are talking about a factory with several applications in which the deploy process is done by a different team of development. In addition to what has been mentioned, it should also be included due to a matter of consistency, because if the name of the related application appears when opening the module in another way, it should appear in any way to open it.

Multiple Ajax Refresh Widget
Created on 29 Nov 2010

It's a simple idea : Provide a new widget to allow sequential / multiple widget ajax refresh . It's a common need to refresh more than one widgets after some logic (inside of an screen action). It's the same behavior that we actualy have with Assign widget, multiple operations using the same widget.

Search input in the activity tabs

Congrats on the new UI and new features that offer new possibilities to the Users! :)I still have some ideas, in this case, either on the forums tab or ideas or forge or publications or webinars would be proficient to have an option to search too, in this case for the forums if I am looking for specific keywords or set of words for a subject that I am trying to remember and I know that I answered or I got the answer right now I don't have a search input to look for the answers or themes where I discussed in the forum. And the search would be conditional by the filter that I am putting before, or even dates.
