When creating a new application in Service Studio, I really appreciate how the platform automatically extracts the primary theme color and generates a default logo based on the uploaded application icon. This greatly helps with the initial branding setup. However, I’ve noticed that the favicon is not automatically set in the same way. It would be a great improvement if the favicon could also be auto-generated or defaulted to the uploaded application icon, just like the logo and color theme. This would ensure a more consistent visual identity for new applications right from the start, without requiring additional manual steps. Thank you for your continuous improvements and for considering this suggestion!

The proposed feature to delete all unused elements from a module in OutSystems Service Studio with a single click is highly useful. It streamlines the development process by reducing module clutter, enhancing performance , and improving maintainability. This feature simplifies the management of codebases, making them more navigable and less prone to errors. Additionally, it saves developers significant time by automating the cleanup process, allowing them to focus on more critical development tasks. This contributes to overall efficiency in application lifecycle management and deployment.

A no-brainer: having the possibillity in the Expression Editor to click on a true or false button to have the text.Just like you have now with the null identifiers.Yes, its lazy but that's the common thread with developers :)

There is a great subdomain "charts.outsystems.com" that explains how the charts can be customized. However, I think it is missing some crucial information. For example, there is the following page that explains different chart types and how to implement them: https://charts.outsystems.com/samples/chart-with-multiple-chart-types There is a warning there implying that it is not possible to do a "step line chart" with the config options of the chart block (see attachment): "Currently, it's possible to convert any series to the following types: Line, LineSpline, Area, AreaSpline, Column, Bar and Pie." In reality, it is actually possible to do this with addon extensibility configurations; i.e. with a certain client action ( SetHighchartsSeriesConfigs ) from the Charts library, as partly explained in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzNnX7oqhNY It would be great if such information is also added to the https://charts.outsystems.com/ subdomain.

If you watch a lot of training videos  at one day, you have to disable the subtitles for every training video, set the speed if you have a slow speaker and you have to set the quality over and over.I want that every next video "remembers" the setting of the previous video.

I have seen multiple other ideas about this, but none were at the level that I need. When you have an application that is composed of multiple application modules (we'll call them) and you refresh a single module that then throws all of the modules out of sync, being able to refresh all of the modules in a specific order across multiple application nodes would be amazing. Say, I need to refresh something in my _CW application that then throws multiple modules in my _BL application , into the UI application. Being able to select which modules to refresh in which order would save a lot of time.

Hi,In Outsystems we have a concept called Applications that are a group of modules that are grouped.To be compliant with Outsystems architecture it's normal to have 2/3 applications that refer to the same business application (as you can see in the image).To allow better governance I suggest creating a new concept called cluster that will improve:Log analysis by business applicationDependencies by business applicationData flow by business applicationTechnical debt (AD) analysisArchitecture reading

When using the Columns widget, it’s hard to control vertical alignment of the content in each individual column. The common workaround, wrapping each column’s content in an extra Container to attach classes doesn’t always behave well. My proposal is to add an ExtendedClass property on each column placeholder inside the Columns widget. These classes should be applied directly to the column wrapper element that encloses the placeholder’s content.

Development environments in large projects can easily end up having a high number of published versions by module.In many scenarios searching for a specific module version where some specific logic was implemented is essential.In these cases, the possibility to filter the Other Versions list by date would make this process faster.

Allowing functions to be passed as a parameter has been supported in many popular languages including Java, JavaScript, Python, and PHP.  Adding this functionality will make OutSystems code more dynamic. Well-Known JavaScript Example: // $() is an alias of jQuery() $(function(){     // code goes here });
