When are we gonna have a option to access the metadata from a OML file?In my case i need to generate report for instance, all screens and their input/output parameters to a given Espace. This information exist only in the OML file. Therefore only the Service Studio is able to open it. Maybe some component which could translate it?I think its important feature for enterprise grade Frameworks like Outsystems. With best regards,Slavi Popov

When dealing with mathematical calculations or complex queries it's easy to lose track of parentheses.Check the attached image for an example of highlighted parentheses on Notepad++.

The connection timeout error message must include the request that failed, so we can determine screen and data fetch.Currently, the Stack is only mentioning thisCommunicationException: The connection has timed out at c.onTimeout (https://domain/module/scripts/OutSystems.js?dU8nDUaeDPfu6NWEtXEQEQ:3:7337)  at https://domain/module/scripts/OutSystems.js?dU8nDUaeDPfu6NWEtXEQEQ:3:4671Not even the screen name is on the detail of the error.

Hello All,JavaScript has had ES6 and ES7 syntax since a couple of years. The new syntax provides some good features like lambda syntax, the 'let' keyword, the 'const' keyword, template literals etc. While some old browsers do not support all of the syntax, there are libraries like 'babel.js' ( https://babeljs.io/ ) which transform modern JS to ES5 (the usual JS syntax). It would be great if the OutSystems product allowed using modern JS directly in ServiceStudio.OutSystems can integrate the babel.js within the platform - so that it can convert any modern JS syntax to ES5 (older JS when required for old browsers, already most modern browsers do support ES6 , but not all..).Advantages:1. Developer productivity with modern JS will be very good. Many forge components rely on JS and JS libraries and having support for modern JS will be great.2. Modern JS is helpful for writing easier to read and maintainable JS code.3. On the mobile front in OutSystems - apache cordova for the mobile plugins is JS based - so supporting modern JS would be a win over there too.

There is a great subdomain "charts.outsystems.com" that explains how the charts can be customized. However, I think it is missing some crucial information. For example, there is the following page that explains different chart types and how to implement them: https://charts.outsystems.com/samples/chart-with-multiple-chart-types There is a warning there implying that it is not possible to do a "step line chart" with the config options of the chart block (see attachment): "Currently, it's possible to convert any series to the following types: Line, LineSpline, Area, AreaSpline, Column, Bar and Pie." In reality, it is actually possible to do this with addon extensibility configurations; i.e. with a certain client action ( SetHighchartsSeriesConfigs ) from the Charts library, as partly explained in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uzNnX7oqhNY It would be great if such information is also added to the https://charts.outsystems.com/ subdomain.

While using some tools like IcoMoon to extend the icon collection to fit more with my project theme, I face an issue with dual color icons. I am talking about the icons that is defacto mono color, but some paths has opacity, to apply shadow or set background color for example. This icons inherit a single color form its parent, or by applied color using classes, like normal icons. Some icons may be rendered with many paths. If the icon need 1 or 2 paths, it can be applied with pseudo elements, "::before" and "::after". Icon: delete-01 Icon: delete-02 However, if it need more than 2 paths, then OutSystems' icon widget cannot be used. Instead I uses "HTML Element" and add "span" elements in it. Icon: delete-03 So it would be easier if the Icon widget detects the number of needed paths by it self, or has a lot of paths appended in it to support a wider range of icons in it.

Moving forward would there be any plans to support rollout of web applications in the form of Progressive Web Apps https://developers.google.com/web/progressive-web-apps/ https://developers.google.com/web/showcase/This allows no installation, fast web applications, service worker, greater productivity and SEO.

It could be useful the existence of a kind of widget , similar to the page count richwidget, focus to the creation of reports (with auto pagination, Header repetition, SusTotal, total, ...) to be printed .

The AI Mentor Studio is already very powerful but we always look for new ways to make it even more helpful. Here are some suggestions of improvement: 1. New Filter for Changed Elements When applying a filter to show alerts analyzed within the past two weeks, we sometimes still see alerts for elements that haven’t been modified in years. While older alerts are important, they should be reviewed in different contexts. A filter that displays only elements that have been actively changed within the selected timeframe would improve efficiency. 2. New "Brainstorming" State Some alerts involve complex issues where immediate fixes could pose risks. While the "Remind Me Later" status helps, some alerts need to be reconsidered at a later stage in the project without requiring monthly snoozing. Introducing a "Brainstorming" state would provide a clearer distinction for alerts that require further discussion before resolution. 3. New Filter for Unassigned Alerts Currently, users can filter alerts assigned to specific users, but there is no direct way to view alerts that have not been assigned to anyone. While exporting alerts to Excel allows for this, having an in-app filter to display unassigned alerts would be much more convenient and efficient. Hopefully these suggestions will be taken into consideration :) Cheers, Vanessa Espírito Santo
