About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior OutSystems Engineer with 12+ years of overall IT experience, including extensive hands-on expertise in the OutSystems Low-Code Development Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, architecting, and leading enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives using OutSystems while collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

This role requires a strong technical leader who can drive application modernization, ensure scalable architecture, mentor development teams, and deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design and architect enterprise-grade applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Define technical roadmaps, architecture standards, and development best practices.
• Lead application modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, security, and maintainability requirements.

Development & Implementation

• Develop and deploy complex web and mobile applications using OutSystems.
• Build reusable components, integrations, and accelerators.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.

Integration & Enterprise Systems

• Design and implement integrations with enterprise applications and third-party systems.
• Develop REST and SOAP APIs for seamless system communication.
• Work with cloud and on-premises environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead technical teams and mentor developers across multiple projects.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance during project planning, estimation, and execution.
• Support pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, and technical proposals when required.

Quality & Governance

• Implement security, compliance, and governance best practices.
• Establish CI/CD processes and automated deployment strategies.
• Ensure proper documentation of architecture, design, and development artifacts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across development teams.

Experience

• 12+ years of overall software development experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with OutSystems development.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale enterprise applications using OutSystems.
• Experience leading technical teams and enterprise-wide implementation projects.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
