Well, there was a time when OutSystems offered free certification for Associate ODC back in 2023 when it was newly launched but it also had pre-requisite of Associate Reactive Developer O11 ($200). Now it's no longer free.

Now, if you attain in-person live ONE Conference, or Developer Days Programs organized by OutSystems which are held yearly, you can get a free voucher for any certificate.

• Q2. Are there any current promotions, discounts, or voucher programs for the paid certifications?

If there were any recent promotions, OutSystems might have pinged it on top of the forum itself so can assume it as no.

Now the voucher program, so its best to ask your organization if it's partner with OutSystems, it's very likely that not just one, but many you can ask for :).

Discounts, not directly, it might depends on the voucher, as far as I know, whatever voucher I've used gave 100% discount. so can't really say.

• Q3. Are there any community programs or challenges that offer free access to certification exams?

Yes, timely there are some Bootcamps which are organized by community members and on attending those and participating in quizzes, you are eligible for a free voucher, it again depends on the terms and condition of the Bootcamp. Be active over forum or linked in, connect with community members to stay updated for the same.

First, clarifying the certifications/specializations available and their cost:

• Associate Reactive
  You need to pay to do the exam, but if you have for O11, the ODC is free (at least it still was in January)
• Web Developer Specialist
  You need to pay to do the exam, but if you have for O11, the ODC is free

• Mobile Developer Specialist
  one exam certifies you in O11 and ODC

• Architecture Specialist
  one exam for O11, one for ODC

• Security Specialist
  one exam for O11, one for ODC

• Front-End Developer Specialist
  one exam certifies you in O11 and ODC

The other you mentioned doesn't exist.
When you get all 6, you get the Expert badge for free.
I will not go into Traditional path, Tech Lead, Delivery, DevOps, Platform Ops, Sales because you only mentioned the Developer path.

Now how to do them for free?

If your company is a client/partner they may have some vouchers for the team. Or they can buy them from a training partner.

Some events and activities will give you vouchers Developer Days and ONE Conference are examples. And sometimes even User Groups.

If you are a developer with no experience in OutSystems, you can apply to Developer School and get a free attempt.

When you have experience in OutSystems, some activities can give you discounts. like Joining the Research Program, becoming a Champion or MVP...

Tips

My tips depend on the profile and goals of the student. But starting with Associate Developer (11 or ODC) is mandatory. And for that, you have to do the online course and practice by doing projects for you.
