Hi Stuart,

We have one of our customers using the OutSystems platform On Premise, with an Oracle database.

The problem is that he's unable to execute the solution, as from the homepage, they have multiple "Error executing query" errors.

Can you please confirm the support for Oracle 19c support for the K Test Manager forge component ?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,

Paulo Moreira

Hi Paulo,

I have written some advanced SQL in the framework. I don't have access to an Oracle database, so I have tried to use ANSI SQL but am not surprised if there are some errors.

I am happy to update the SQL and publish a new version.

Would you be able to help with verifying the updated SQL statements?

Kind regards,

Stuart

I have started working through Advanced SQL queries with SQL Validator to confirm Oracle query syntax. Would you be interested in testing if I published an update?

Thanks Paulo,

Ok sounds great. Give me a few days. There are a number of Advanced SQL statements that need updating.

I will publish it as under development and let you know when its ready.

Kind regards,

Stuart

Hi Paulo,

I have uploaded an update to support Oracle for the following components.

  • K Test Manager v1.2.2 (Updated Advanced SQL for Oracle)
  • K Test Core v1.2.2 (Updated Advanced SQL for Oracle)
  • Puppeteer v1.1.0 (Some unrelated updates that were under development)
  • K Test Client Actions Core v1.2.2 (Updated dependencies)

It would be great if you could give it a try on Oracle and let me know how you go. It appears to still work on SQL Server, so it looks like I haven't messed anything up!

Also, I set them as all "Under Development". Please let me know if thats a pain, because you have to download them, and I'll switch them over to "Stable" so you can directly install.

Fingers crossed!

Kind regards,

Stuart

Hi Paulo,

I hope things have calmed down a little for you now.

I just wanted to check, is the K Test Manager working for you with Oracle 19c now?

I would like to mark the new version as stable, or fix any issues.

Thanks again for your help.

Kind regards,

Stuart
