[OutSystems UI] Tooltips not closing correctly after tab switch / visibility change

Hi everyone,

we’re currently facing an issue where not all tooltips are properly closed when visibilitychange event is triggered (e.g. by switching browser tabs).

I've attached a short video and a module that contains our current workaround. However, it would be preferable to have this handled directly within OutSystems UI.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Click "buggy tooltip 1"
  2. Switch to another browser tab and then return
  3. Click "buggy tooltip 2"
  4. Click "buggy tooltip 1"
  5. Click "buggy tooltip 2"

Hi @Magnus

First of all, it's nice to hear that you found a workaround that meets your requirements.

I was able to validate the issue and created a ticket in our internal backlog under ROU-12835 for future reference in the release notes.

Cheers,

David Lourenço

Hi @Magnus

I saw your OML. You have already fixed the issue by modifying the existing tooltip component. I have tried another approach you can also check that.

Let me know if you are facing different issues.

Thanks,

Sudip

Hi @Sudip Pal,

Thanks for your solution, but so that not everyone has to implement this workaround on their own screen, I've created a web block that can be used in place of the original.

I thought you are looking for another solution. You can add your solution and mark this post as done.
