[OutSystems UI] [O11 Reactive] OutSystemsUI upgrade to 2.29 - LightboxImage in Carousel broken

Recently our team upgraded to OutSystemsUI version 2.29. Everything works fine, except for one problem.

When having a LightboxImage in a Carousel, the LightboxImage doesn't function at all. When clicking on the preview image, instead of showing the image in its bigger form as expected, the entire page freezes and the user is forced to refresh.

Setting the Loop property in OptionalConfigs to False fixes this issue, so there is a workaround. However, we would rather see this fixed completely, as it means removing some functionality from the Carousel to make it work.

Hello @Bjorn van Bruchem

Thank you for sharing the reproduction that helped confirming the use case.

This will be tackled under the issue code ROU-13067 for future reference in the release notes.
We can't provide an ETA at this moment but it will be covered in the first half of Q4.

Best Regards,
Cheers

Hi @Bjorn van Bruchem

Could you please provide a reproduction oml with your scenario, so we can address this properly and making sure we're looking into the same reported use case?
Thanks for reaching out.

Cheers,
GM

Hi Gonçalo,

Attached is a reproduction OML. It has three pages:

  • UploadPhotos
  • TestLoopTrue (bug occurs)
  • TestLoopFalse (bug doesn't occur)

The OML contains a Web Block "PhotoCarousel", which contains the Carousel with a List of LightboxImages.

Another thing I found out was that, as soon as there is just one Carousel with LightboxImage on a page with Loop set to True, it also breaks all other Carousels, even ones that have Loop set to False.

Kind regards,

Bjorn van Bruchem
