[Silk UI Web] Silk Tabs scrolling on mobile not obvious enough.

If you look at the mobile preview on the responsive desktop web browser it is very obvious that you can scroll left to right on the Silk UI tabs.

However, if you look at it with an actual mobile device (Both Android and iPhone) it appears that the tabs just get cut off, and unless you know they already exist, it is not obvious that you would be able to drag the tabs around to view the hidden tabs.

Please include some sort of indicator for mobile devices that notifies users that they are able to scroll through the tabs. Also, a boolean option to display all information vertically instead of in a tabbed view could also resolve this as well.

Hi,

We're adressing this issue on Silk Mobile and we expect it to be fixed on the next release, near the end of this month. The solution is to add a margin on the first Tab, similar to what Google does with Material Design - https://material.io/guidelines/components/tabs.html#tabs-types-of-tabs

For Silk Web, since the Tabs style is quite different, we're still evaluating how the scroll can be hinted.

Since the problem is more visible when a certain number of tabs fits the screen perfectly, giving the idea that there are no more tabs available, one workaround that I can suggest is to handle the width of the Tabs to make sure one of them gets cut and provides the hint that there are more tabs available.
