I need to use my POST API to receive images from my database. The reason it is a post is because I need to tell the database what filtered options the user has selected so then they only receive the pictures that meet those filters. I have already consumed the API in my app and now all I need to do is create an action to get the data from using the API but I'm not sure how. All I have right now is the server action of running the post method. This is a mobile app. Thanks in advance.

Hi Tanner.

You can follow the online training course https://www.outsystems.com/learn/courses/116/integrating-with-web-services/

In the first part you learn to consume an REST API that returns an image, as wel creating a REST API that returns a image in the response.

Daniel

There is nothing on that page about images. Is there any example elsewhere I could look at?

Hi Tanner,

Yes there is. It is a training with training material you have to download and follow.

It will learn you how to code in OutSystems.

In Exposing Application Data using REST (GET) there is an excerise to expose a picture. I attached the PDF that you could have downloaded.Search in the PDF on the word "Picture".
