Hi Huub,

I don't think you are getting the windows blue screen due to the working in Service Studio. It might be due to your system's performance/configuration issues. Please check the configuration of your system and make sure your laptop/desktop have the required configuration to run the OutSystems Service Studio.

Thanks & Kind Regards,

Sachin

Hi Sachin

Thank you for your quick respond.

We checked the complete configuration, latest drivers, laptop-supplier(DELL) looked at it , etc. you name it., but it only occurs when working in outsystems.

How about the spec of the laptop ?

Development tools

To develop your applications using OutSystems, developers need to install Service Studio and Integration Studio development tools on their desktops.

Installation requirements for these tools are as follows.

Hardware (minimum requirements)

  • 1.8 GHz dual-core processor (or better)
  • 2 GB of RAM (4 GB recommended)
  • 1 GB of free disk space

Also maybe you can check with the windows event viewer for the cause of the bluescreen

Hi Toto

Thank you for your reply.

But requirements are no issue. Eventviewer only concludes that there was an abnormal termination, but nog logging of the reason for this abnormal end..

If you are confident and sure that whatever minimum requirements are needed to run OutSystems service studio fulfills by your systems, then might be a possibility that Service Studio have not got installed properly, since abnormal termination of any software/application happens only there is any issues with either system's configuration or if it was not installed correctly. I would recommend you to please give a try to uninstall and reinstall the service studio to make sure that there is nothing wrong with OS.

The other thing that I can suggest is save your windows event viewer, and open ticket to the Outsystems Support (https://success.outsystems.com/Support) and attach the windows event viewer on the ticket.

Hi,

There was someone else that recently had problems with SS. Maybe not the same, but you could try the same resolution:
