Hello,

I am trying to demonstrate exchange between an external Bluetooth device and an Outsystems-built android app. When using the demo linked in the Bluetooth Serial Plugin, I can build, install and run the app, but when searching for BT devices, the buttons stay gray and spinning and never return.

Permissions are set correctly (access to location when app is opened). I tried this on two devices with the same  result.

Any pointers or tricks?

Hi there.....did you ever get this resolved? Im just starting to use if for a similar purpose and its giving the same result.

One post i did just find that might throw some light..


Not all Bluetooth devices will be found by this plugin.

The Bluetooth device needs to support the serial protocol. You should be able to connect to Raspberry PI devices and HL6 modules for Arduino.Regards,
