What is the Certification process for Outsystems ?

Hi Team,

I have willing to gain more knowledge in Outsystems as a developer and want to get certification. So, can anyone tell me the process of taking Certification like :

  • What certification to be taken first as a beginner
  • What is the process to register
  • Exam procedures and prerequisites

If any one has taken certification earlier, if you share your experience that would be helpful.

Hi Rekha,

Traditional web is slowly being phased out. But as some companies still use these applications the exams are still provided.
If you are new to OutSystems and don't work for a company that uses Traditional web then Associate Reactive Developer is a better starting point.

Hi Rekha,

A good place to start is to have a look at is
https://www.outsystems.com/certifications/

The first certification to take would be the Associate Reactive Developer

The best way to prepare is to look at the exam details of the certifications on that page and to follow training paths:
https://www.outsystems.com/training/paths/

Registering and exam procedures are also on the certification page

Hi Rekha,

You can get the full information about certifications on the certifications page, under Learn menu. For every certification, you will find all the information you need to prepare yourself for the exam, with the links for the courses videos to watch, for documentation to read or for bootcamps to attend

The Associate are the basic levels, then you have Professional, Specializations and Expert level ones.

In any case, the first step is to learn, which you can do following Guided Paths, under Learn menu.

The registration can be made via the certifications page, under Learn menu, by selecting the one and following the registration steps. You can schedule and do it online, for your convenience.

Kind Regards,
João

Hello Rekha,

Hope you are doing well.

you can get certification details on this page.

https://www.outsystems.com/certifications/

But I would like to tell you that complete training guided path first.

Learn all basic things in training and then you can start preparation for certification exam.

You can start with basic certification like Associate Traditional  Web Developer.

And if you prepared basics well then easily you can crack it.

All the best!! Have a good one.

Regards,

Ajit kurane.

Hi Ajit,

Few of the replies are to take Associate Reactive Developer certification, but you suggested Associate Traditional  Web Developer. So, may I know which one suits for which role ? And being a developer which one I should choose?

Hi Team,

I have gone through the certifications list. I have little bit confusion between Certifications section and Traditional Web Exams section. What I thought is Associate Traditional Web Developer certification is the initial certification needed for beginners (being a developer). Can anyone please explain?

Thanks.
