Hi, I am trying to send an email but then i receive this:
Error sending email 2: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond <ip adress customer>:25 at System.Net.Sockets.TcpClient.Connect(String hostname, Int32 port)
Does anyone has an idea?
Hey Friend
Your email started with after using Gmail as Sender and its configuration because it doesn't have blockage but that's not possible to use in every case because each company here their own different Mail Servers subscriptions.
Rene, the issue you are facing is of IP Blockage that could be because of the Firewall or any other security added to mail server. Please check that blockage to resolve your problem.
Thank you.
Hi René,
Which email SMTP server did you set up, Gmail?
It feels like the IP address you pass to the action cannot be resolved (e.g. wrong or has missing parts), or maybe the port number you pass is wrong or blocked by the customer. It's also possible that the OutSystems IP that sends the request is blacklisted.
If you are sure these are not the case, you might want to check out this similar solution from the forum:

Cheers
Already happened to me too. Try to use a Gmail account on the configurations, and don't forget to turn on the the access to less secure apps.
Check this post.
