I want to connect to external mysql database, I have installed latest mysql version 8.0, I have provided details as shown

am I filling wrong details or what?, I am getting this error every time I try to test connection.

can someone please give me steps to do this process. how can I connect to a external mysql database on localhost

Hi Darshan,

You cannot connect  to your local instance of MYSQL unless that is having public IP or domain.
