[IdP Mobile] "InAppBrowserEvents plugin not available. Try to re-install the app." Mobile PWA
idp-mobile
Mobile icon
Forge asset by João Barata
Application Type
Mobile
Service Studio Version
11.53.10 (Build 61105)

I'm looking to replicate the Mobile Idp Sample app (it's modules are out of date / doesn't run)

https://www.outsystems.com/forge/component-overview/2933/idp-mobile-sample

However I keep getting this error message

I've added everything under Manage Dependencies for InAppBrowserEvents

Attached my simplified version of their sample app

Solution

In the end, I concluded that this would never work with PWA

So we used the React Idp with our mobile PWA. We did have a hiccup where SSO was not working, and we had to ensure Okta's Content Security Policy was set to allow it to be rendered in our development environment

I was not sure before answering but I read this post and it says in an answer to the question:

"Adding a plugin is one of the changes that require the generation of a new build of the app. You can read more in detail about them here, but in any case, I'll leave you with a screenshot of the documentation list of the changes that require the user to install a new build: "

There is also this one just in case about Idp

https://www.outsystems.com/forums/discussion/62947/idp-mobile-progressive-web-apps-pwa/

And I also saw these answers

Thank you for quick response.

I've uninstalled & reinstall the app on my phone as PWA, same error

I'm also testing using Chrome using the "Preview in Devices"

I cleared my browser cache from the last 24 hours (this is how I usually reinstall the app) and same error
