How to Earn Badges
Discussion

In this post I would like to explain broefly about earning badges on OutSystems. I have seen a post in Ideas section so thought to address it. I will try to as brief as possible while provding the sufficient information.

I have skipped Limited Edition and Moderator Level badges but covered all other categories.

Getting Started Badges

Welcome Badge - You earn this badge automatically when you join OutSystems Community and  it never expires.

Autobiographer - To earn this you need to fill all information in your OutSystems profile. In your profile page, you will see three vertical dots in top right section next to message button. Click it to see menu and choose profile option.

Community Participation Badges

First Post - To earn this post a question in forum. Try to be genuine.

First Idea - To earn this submit a genuine idea. For this gets some hands on to how OutSystems works. Based on your experience you may find some gap in available functionality or you may find some missing component or module in Forge. So once you find the gap do not shy to submit.

Answer Marked as Solution - To earn this you must submit an answer that impresses the person who submitted the question. The secret is that whenever you write or post something take it seriously and give your best. Stay to the point and provide any information that question is about.

First Asset - To earn this you need to share with OutSystems community about the masterpiece you have created in OutSystems. No need to be Elon Musk on this just share your work who knows what get hits from the community.

Idea Implemented - For this your at least one of you submitted ideas must attract the creator community and one of them decides and says "Hey, I am going to do it". So explain your idea well by

OS Component Contributor - To earn this you need to contribute in OutSystems Components available on OutSystems Gitub. To explore this you can visit https://github.com/OutSystems.

Previously OutSystems had Delta Certification Exams to upgrade (for example from OS 10 to OS 11). Currently, no such certifications are available. So wait for next Delta exams for this badge. :)
