Create my app in Free Version

Hello, I would like to create my own app and then publish it on Google Store and AppStore, but I would like to know I f I can do it freely or I have to pay for it 15k/year, as I am on my own not working for any enterprise.

1- To sum up, is OutSystems platform able to build a mobile app like TripAdvisor?
2-if yes. Can I get for free or I have to choose a payble plan?
3-Do you recommend me to build an app like TripAdvisor using OutSystems?

Best Regards,
Diogo

Hello Diogo,

You can find all the details related to personal environment on below link along with it's limitations.

Here are some limitations that I find are bare minimum to properly support a commercial application.

  1. 2 GB data storage - Although this is enough for applications with purpose to learn, evaluate, experiment etc., but definitely not for a commercial one.
  2. Single environment - Any changes you make and publish in your app, the end users are directly impacted.
  3. Only 100 concurrent users.

In terms of other options, I think this is the only one you can get for free.

Hope it helps!

You can do it freely, but there are some limitations.

I think not, you don't have space for all the records, and you cannot add the user system where you can log in and have all the user's comments etc because of user limitations. And there are other platforms which you can use and pay for your own server and it's going to be cheaper. From my point of view, OutSystems is not something you can use for that kind of project, it's for big companies where there are a lot of changes and you want something delivered fast to the client. You want to give value to the client all the time which is kind of flexible.

Kind Regards,

Márcio

I have edited my post, can you see If you can answer my questions please. I have saw a lot of replies in other post but its not quite clear for me yet.
