Web Page Icon

Previously, I only have one module, and now I split the UI module from the original one into a new one, and all screens in original one will be eventually deleted. Here I have several questions

1. how to change the below icon??
-->UI one will hold the screen

2. Do I need to change the module type of original one? (It holds Entity and business logic), how can I change the module type?

Hi, @Winnie Lam, For the icon, you need to set the favicon in the data tab under resources, and for the second question, I don't think you can change the module type, but if your module will only contain entities and server actions, then the module should be of service type, so the solution suggested by OutSystems is to first create a new module, then move everything to the new module, then delete the first module, and then rename the new module to the original name of the module so their are no dependency issues. Hi Winnie,

For point 1.

  1. In Service Studio, go to the Data tab > Resources, select favicon.png and change its Name to favicon.ico.

Properties showing favicon with ICO extension

  2. Right-click favicon.ico and select Change Resource.

  3. In Change Resource, select an ICO image with the new favicon.

  4. then in your layout > onReady change the URL for Addfavicon

For second point you can refer this link.

Hope it helps.
