Architecture Dashboard - Allow for multiple Findings (bulk) change
Created on 02 Jul 2020
João Melo

Some Indicators still need enhancement as they still generate a lot of False Positives. So, it's an annoying task having to go over all of them and marking as False Positive or even Already Fixed or Won't Fix.So, if I could just mark the items I want to change and select the new Finding type at once, it would be very helpful. Most of the times the reason is the same anyway for several items.

Make Wake Timer actions public
Created on 03 Feb 2022
Axel Denis

Every timer has a WakeTimer action that is only accessible within the module of the timer. It would be way more handier if that WakeTimer action would be a public action so that we don't have to create wrappers for it anymore.

Upgrade Require Script System client action
Created on 17 Mar 2022
Clarisse Carneiro
12
The 'RequireScript' System action adds a Javascript to the html header as a synchronous ['sync'] script by default. Here is an example of a require script added to a header:Here are some examples of scripts added by OutSystems UI (we can see that they are set asynchronously ['async']):This configuration is important because a sync script that has an error could stop the page from loading and trigger an error screen. So the idea is to add more inputs to the 'Require Script' System action to allow at least to set the async configuration. We could keep the default as sync but also allow the user to set it async. As a plus, we could also have the remaining configurations available, as used by OutSystems (type & chartset). This would give more control when using require script and avoid potential page crashes. I think everyone could benefit from this upgrade.

[Service Studio] Allow the developer to rearrange widgets on the widget pane
Created on 21 Feb 2019
Armando Gomes

Hello there,I would like to suggest that the developer is able to rearrange the widget pane (left pane) to their liking. If the developer uses a lot of Comboboxes but none Editable Tables, maybe it makes sense to show that in a higher position?Cheers!

True change warning when Ajax Submitting in Screen Action that ends in Download or Upload
Created on 09 Jul 2018
Kilian Hekhuis
21
The Upload Widget and Download Statement only function when the Button or Link that triggers them is set to Submit. Setting it to Ajax Submit will result in a runtime error (for Upload) or downloading the ASPX file (for Download), both unwanted. Therefore Service Studio / TrueChange should be able to detect when a Screen Action that has at least one end node being the Download Statement is called from an Ajax Submit, and if so gives a TrueChange warning. Also, a Screen that has an Upload Widget calling a Screen Action that uses the Upload Widget in Expressions or Assignments etc. by a Button or Link that has Ajax Submit should give a TrueChange warning.Additionally, TrueChange should not suggest setting a Submit to Ajax Submit when there are Ajax Refreshes inside the Screen Action, as it does currently, but instead suggest to remove the Ajax Refreshes in the cases listed above. This will help novice OutSystems Developers, as problems with this regularly appear on the forums (e.g. here ).

Navigate to action linked to widget without having to find it on the screen manually
Created on 17 Oct 2022
Nicholas Campbell

It would really save time if there was the ability to navigate from a widget that uses an action as an event handler straight to that action rather than having to look at the widget for the name and then find that action manually on the screen. Some sort of button or double click functionality to be able to click on that action in the widget and then that takes you straight to the scree/client action.

In the Entity Diagram I would like to select two tables that I want to be in a ManyToMany relationship by right click on them and then create. This should automatically create a new mapping table and create the sceleton of it

include in menu option should available after creating a screen
Created on 10 Mar 2025

In ODC Studio it can be very helpful if we can have a checkbox for include in menu on screen so if I forgot to enable it on creating i can still add it in menu. Similar as how it is in Service Studio (O11)

AI Mentor to show the Unused API
Created on 07 May 2024
Manikandan Sambasivam

The AI Mentor currently provides visibility into 'Unused Actions in Modules' and 'Unused Aggregates or SQL Queries'. Similarly, introducing a feature to identify 'Unused APIs' would greatly benefit developers by enabling them to efficiently manage their APIs, thereby mitigating potential security risks.
