Most of us work in teams. When we share out projects on our profile, it would be nice if we could tag another community member that worked  with us on the same project. There could have some 'approval request' so the other partner could approve that project on their profile too.

We have reasonably big (medium-big) sized OutSystems projects. We have number of objects (screens, blocks, server actions, entities, etc) in these projects. These projects go through multiple phases of constant development. There are multiple developers work on these projects, and many of the developers are hired when needed. These new developers start with very minimal knowledge about the application. These developers usually work on shared components. So, it would be easier, if there is an EXPORT option that helps us export the specific screen/server action/block that they work on. Before they start the development, they can export the component/object. This EXPORT-ed file/source can be used as a backup. So if we need to restore we can easily restore.

There is a limitation in OutSystems Service Studio where folders cannot be nested inside other folders. As a result, application elements must be kept in a flat structure, which reduces clarity, organization, and long-term maintainability. Why not allow developers the flexibility to create a better and more structured folder management system?

Hello, I have been facing some limitations with the platform. The "Decimal" data type only allows 37 characters of length and has been a limiting factor while doing some calculations on really large numbers. With the advent of AI and Big Data, a "decimal" variable that could be length controlled via setting would be a big plus for the platform. It would open new grounds for native Outsystems Development while staying true to the platform original goal. This variable type could be controlled via Service Center. The error "Numeric value does not fit in a System.Decimal" is crippling in this new age of Data and AI

To improve the user experience and reduce redundant submissions in the OutSystems Ideas forum, I propose adding an AI-powered module to the idea submission forms. This module would help developers avoid duplicates, suggest relevant tags, and enhance the overall quality of submissions. Key Features: Duplicate Title Detection When a user enters a title, the AI module will scan the existing submissions to find and display similar or identical titles. This will help prevent duplicate ideas from being posted. Developers will be presented with a list of potential matches and can review them before finalizing their submission, reducing repetitive posts. Tag Suggestion Based on the title and description entered by the developer, the AI module will suggest appropriate tags. This ensures that the idea is properly categorized, making it easier to find and increasing visibility for relevant audiences. Tags can be accepted, modified, or added by the developer, allowing for flexibility while ensuring relevance. Description-Based Duplicate Check After the developer submits their idea description, the AI will also scan the content of existing submissions to find similar ideas based on the description, providing another layer of duplicate prevention. This feature will further reduce the chance of redundant ideas being posted, ensuring that unique contributions are highlighted.

Problem Description When working on complex action flows in Service Studio, it’s often hard to visually identify the main path, the sequence that runs when everything goes right and no exceptions are thrown. Once an action starts to grow with multiple if nodes, exception handlers, and different branches, all the lines look the same. This makes it difficult to quickly understand: Which path is actually executed most of the time Where to safely add new logic Where performance-heavy steps should go How the flow is intended to run under normal conditions This becomes even more confusing when maintaining someone else’s work or revisiting a module after a long time. Idea / Proposed Solution It would be extremely helpful if Service Studio allowed us to highlight or mark the main execution path inside an action flow. Some possibilities: Manually select certain steps and mark them as the “main flow,” so they get a subtle color or visual emphasis Dim non-main branches for easier reading Add a toggle to show/hide highlighted paths Or even allow Studio to auto-suggest a main path based on the straight-through execution sequence Even a small visual cue would make a big difference when reading or designing large flows. I believe this small enhancement would significantly improve the experience of working with complex action flows, especially in enterprise-scale applications.

To simplify the process of adding new languages, it would be highly beneficial to incorporate AI-powered translation as a feature. When a developer adds a new language, the system could automatically generate initial translations using AI. This would provide developers with a solid starting point for localization, which they could then review and modify as needed. By integrating AI translation, developers could save time, reduce manual effort, and accelerate the process of expanding their application into new languages, while still maintaining control over the final translations.

It would be nice to have functionality in Service Studio, by setting parent structure public property to yes will automatically set a child structure public property to yes , or give a list of child structures and a button to change as public yes for those childs. Reason : I created a structure using json from my json response and it created some structures based on the inputs. I need to expose my parent structure to other means. Once I tried to set public as yes, I only let all the child structure change manually.
