About the .oap files
Question

In the Lesson Materials for Entities we find the excel files, and the .oap files. What are those for? How must they be used? This is not explained in the videos, and I can´'t find it elsewhere.

Hello Jose, there is a lot of info about that already answered

What are those for?

- OAP stands for Outsystems Application Package. They will export in one file all the modules of the application, the application itself, and when you install it will install the application on your Service Studio and you will have all the modules of the application installed too.

How must they be used?

- They must be used to export your modules/extensions and basically is a solution of different modules/extensions (possibly from different applications).

Hi Jose,

OAP stands for Outsystems Application Pack. You can open this file in your service studio and perform your exercise there. Excel sheet may contain data for entities (not sure). You can open that excel sheet there may be data to bootstrap in your outsytems application. You can use excel sheet to create Entities in outsystems and even you can bootstrap data in existing Entities by using excel sheet.

Best,

Rahul
