Last December, we announced the integrations with External Databases in Integration Builder. This time, we have more news for you regarding external databases and Integration Builder. 

We’re excited to announce a new external database provider available at OutSystems Platform - PostgreSQL. With the latest Integration Builder release, you can take advantage of Integration Builder's great user experience and integrate with your PostgreSQL or Aurora PostgreSQL databases.

PostgreSQL integration is also available through Integration Studio. However, we highly suggest creating new external database integrations with Integration Builder taking advantage of an improved user experience. In Integration Builder, you will get a much better experience, similar to other providers already available.

What you should know before you start

PostgreSQL and Aurora PostgreSQL connectors are now released as Technical Preview in Integration Builder, and GA should occur later on. The capability is available on any environment that has Platform Server version 11.15.0 or later. 

As usual, you can use your Personal Environment to try out the Integration builder without any extra cost. There are no additional costs when using Integration Builder in any OutSystems Edition. The PostgreSQL will only be available when your Personal Environment is upgraded to 11.15.0 or higher.
