I am from Computers Background. But I have never professionally coded in past 6 years. What should I learn before learning OutSystems
You don't have pre requisites. Although it would be helpful if you have some programing background or algorithm background.
you can follow these as a jump start:
Guided Paths will Help You Get Started - Training | OutSystems
Becoming a Reactive Web Developer Guided Path - Training | OutSystems

Hello Vikrant,
Welcome to OutSystems.
According to my experience.
You do not need to learn anything. Just go through OutSystems training guided path. Do all the exercises and learn all of the basic concepts. Everything is provide in guided path and you just need to do more hands on it.
Hopefully you will get confidence to do it more and its amazing platform you will enjoy it. And Outsystems community is always here to help us out.
All the best.
Thanks,
Ajit Kurane.
Hi Vikrant
Welcome to OutSystems, you will definitely enjoy this platform a lot.
Follow the guided paths such as Reactive, for example, you can follow the one in Building an Order Management Application to create an application and see in practice how the components within OutSystems work, in addition, when you are already familiar with the platform, you can research more about SQL, JavaScript, it will help you a lot in your day to day in specific situations.
Good studies!
Hello, So there are a lot of good answers already to this question, but I will add some ideas and opinions.
But from my experience, it is a must to know about Database SQL Data Relationships and have some practice because it will need to do as well in OutSystems even if you are using aggregates. Know about MVC, Model View Control, to have a better perspective on how you can apply the best practices on OutSystems. I found it easier to play with OutSystems because I already had some background and these two topics were very good to get started working on OutSystems. Also, the most important to have is the mind of a problem solver and to know the best practices of how to debug your application to find your problem and fix it.
The point about the database and the one about debugging is two of the topics that I see a lot on the forums and you can find it easier on the guided paths(already shared in the comments) and on the courses if you try to find the topic you want to learn about.
Also, there are the OutSystems How-Tos (that have helped a lot of people here in the community)
Any questions feel free to ask :)
Kind Regards,
Márcio
