The onchange-property works quite nicely, only it will fire a lot when you are typing. There are use-cases when you have a sort of grid to be entered and you actually only want to save the input when the user hits enter (and loses focus to the next input-widget) There can be a workaround by making an hidden-button etc. etc. but what I really would like to see that the OnBlur will be made standard (alongside the Onchange) so we will have less ajax-calls.

When consuming a REST API that uses Basic Authentication, it's possible to statically specify the Username and Password (REST API properties and Service Center). However, I've encountered many REST APIs out in the wild that use Basic Authentication not for access to the REST API but for per-app or per-user credentials. As a workaround it's possible to support this with an OnBeforeRequest and adding the Authentication header yourself, but that is pretty cumbersome. It would be very handy if the Platform supports out-of-the-box capabilities for dynamically setting the REST APIs Basic Authentication Username and Password. Some posibilities:1) A property "use dynamic Basic Authentication" which if set on the REST API causes every method to have two extra parameters for Username and Password;2) An action that's exposed throught the REST API (comparable with the way actions are exposed through an entity) that allows setting the Username and Password once for a specific REST API.

CSS preprocessors have had nesting support for a long time, and it is now natively supported in CSS as well. Furthermore, many browsers already provide support for CSS nesting already: https://caniuse.com/css-nesting CSS nesting is a valuable tool, which has many advantages, including enhanced code readability and organization, which ultimately contribute to the improved maintainability and efficiency of the CSS stylesheets. Therefore, adding this functionality to OutSystems would be beneficial.

In ODC Studio it can be very helpful if we can have a checkbox for include in menu on screen so if I forgot to enable it on creating i can still add it in menu. Similar as how it is in Service Studio (O11)

Here is our scenario: We have setup a corporate theme and we want to make our internal applications follow same theme. We have created an application template which has our theme already implemented in the template. When we create a new module using our template, the new Application widgets asks to select a color (okay for the application icon), however, when we create the first module it automatically adds the theme editor to the module. Most of our developers are entry level and don't think to remove the theme editor styles to that our master theme will always apply. When a new module is created from a template, Service Studio shouldn't be adding back its own code.

Recommended and filtering enhancements can improve the current OutSystems Forge search experience. Smart Search Using AI: Based on the user's query, leverage Natural Language Processing (NLP) to propose suitable components. For instance, searching for “email service” should fetch SMTP, SendGrid, or Mailchimp connectors to be used. User-Based Component Suggestions: Based on app type and previous developer usage, suggest recommended components relevant to the user's previous actions. As an illustration, other fintech tools can be suggested to a developer who has previously used a payment gateway module.

When using the BottomSheet OutSystemsUI pattern I keep missing the option of clicking on the overlay to close the sheet. We can of course develop custom javascript to do that, but it would be better to include an option in this pattern.

On version 8.0 you have the 2-Stage Deploy option and configuration on the Environment Configuration:It would be nice to have one setting available when you are about to publish one solution to ignore the 2-Stage Deploy for the respective solution or vice-versa.This would be very useful if you only want to apply this feature for a specific solution or project. It would be nice to have a setting per solution to apply by default the setting defined on the environment  configuration, or to set for always make use of the 2-Stage Deploy  or to never use the 2-Stage Deploy  for that solution.

The Vision To create a seamless, AI-powered development workflow by embedding OutSystems Mentor directly within ODC Studio. This integration aims to transform Mentor from a separate assistant into an active co-developer capable of generating features in real-time through natural language prompts. Key Features Embedded AI Pane: A native "Mentor" sidebar within ODC Studio to provide contextual help without leaving the development environment. Prompt-to-Feature Generation: Enable developers to describe small features (e.g., "Create a CRUD wrapper for this entity" or "Build a validation action for this form") via text prompts. Automated Logic Injection: Mentor would draft the suggested Logic, UI patterns, or Workflows directly into the open ODC application for the developer to review and publish. Contextual Awareness: The AI should understand the existing data model and client-side logic to ensure generated features are compatible and follow best practices. The Value Add Increased Velocity: Drastically reduces the time spent on repetitive or boilerplate development tasks. Lower Learning Curve: Assists junior developers in implementing complex patterns by following AI-guided prompts. Reduced Context Switching: Keeps developers focused in a single interface, increasing overall productivity.

Many times during development it's necessary to either check or modify the Effective  Value  of a Site Property .  It would be great if you could right-click on a site property in Service Studio and have the option to jump to its value page Service Center.i.e. In this menu there would be an additional option "Manage Site Property":Clicking that option would take you here:There is additional complexity involved with multi-tenant site properties, but perhaps it could navigate you to the Site Property for the tenant you have configured to Test Queries in Service Studio...  Just a thought.
