I would like to suggest a feature enhancement for OutSystems that could significantly improve the user experience and flexibility of applications built on the platform. It would be highly beneficial if OutSystems could introduce functionality similar to what is available in platforms like Snapchat and Telegram, where users can customize the application home page icon directly from the app settings. This feature would allow developers and businesses to offer a more personalized, premium look and feel for their applications. Furthermore, the ability to dynamically update the app icon from the server based on specific themes, such as festivals or other events would be a valuable addition. This functionality would help eliminate the need for frequent updates through app stores, making it easier to keep the app relevant and engaging without the overhead of regular submissions. I believe this feature could enhance both the user experience and operational efficiency. I would appreciate it if you could consider this request for future updates to the OutSystems platform.

It would ease readabillity and avoid mouse clicks if all screen space is used to show as much of a filter definition as possible in the Filters tab of an aggregate definition.

Have you ever had trouble analyzing a bad indented code?I feel the same when the elements are not equidistant.Service Studio has invested in improving the organization of the code, but still find it difficult to keep the elements equidistant.See the gif.

It would be very helpful to have a GetBaseURL  function that would provide the current URL to the current application.  This is extrememly handy when you want to provide a link to the application in an email.

Currently, OutSystems DataGridReactive does not support the allowGrouping (or equivalent) property directly in column configurations. It would be extremely helpful to have a built-in way to restrict specific columns from being dragged into the grouping panel. Use cases include: Preventing grouping by HTML-rendered columns (e.g., custom status tags) Avoiding meaningless groupings (e.g., Action columns, Icons, or Buttons) Thanks

Something useful and necessary is using SELECT result in another SELECT.Very common on major databases systems, the use of subqueries is a must have feature that Outsystems could take a moment to analyze and implement.This could help implementing various complex situations and avoid the use of recordlists, structures and local variables.Imagine: you are creating/editing an Aggregate and you can choose database entities and also another created and "same-scope" Aggregates to use in the joins.

It would be much easier to Outsystems newcomers such as me to be able to add some of our most used Widgets to a Favorites section, without having to scroll down or manually search for it.

In O11, we are able to view all timers in the given environment in Service center. In ODC portal, we do not have this function. The only thing available to us, is the logs, on when the timer had run, and any feedback message we had implemented in the logic It will be helpful and a good-to-have, especially for administrators of the platform

The onchange-property works quite nicely, only it will fire a lot when you are typing. There are use-cases when you have a sort of grid to be entered and you actually only want to save the input when the user hits enter (and loses focus to the next input-widget) There can be a workaround by making an hidden-button etc. etc. but what I really would like to see that the OnBlur will be made standard (alongside the Onchange) so we will have less ajax-calls.

Whenever a new Forge Component is installed using Service Studio, have the possibility of selecting a Lifetime Team to add the application to, or have a setting where a default Lifetime team is set to all components from the OutSystems Forge. This will help granulate IT Users permissions on Lifetime, for instance, If one needs to allow IT Users to install Forge Components, but restrict the access to other applications.
