Windows 8

The OutSystems Platform 8.0 Community Edition is not yet certified to Windows 8 and needs some OS tweaking before the installation.
 

• Follow Windows 8 instructions.

Abortive Prerequisites

• Windows Home Edition - not supported

• Internet Explorer lower than 8 - not supported

• HTTP Port Error (80 and 443)

• Connection refused on 127.0.0.1:12000

• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 Installation Failed

100 or 110: (Deployment)

Look at the files ServiceCenterBootstrapWGet.html and ServiceCenterWGet.html. This is a printscreen of the installation verification page and in there should be written "OutSystems Platform Server is running". If that’s not the case, there should be an HTTP error that will lead you to the next step:
 

• Authentication Error (“HTTP Error 401.2 - Unauthorized”)

• Invalid object name 'OSSYS_SOLUTION.

18: Database Problem

• SQL Server install Failed

• Unable to enable Shared Memory protocol

• Too Many Installations - Can't Create DB "outsystems"

2: Service Studio / Integration Studio

• Visual Studio Primary Interop Assemblies
