The initiative improves operational visibility, peak-season planning and access to internal services across Anteraja’s nationwide network
OutSystems, a leading Agentic Systems Platform,, today announced that Anteraja is modernizing the technology supporting its nationwide logistics network with OutSystems. Since adopting OutSystems in 2022, Anteraja has developed a portfolio of internal applications to replace hard-to-maintain legacy systems, and support day-to-day operations, particularly during peak periods.
Indonesia’s major online shopping campaigns, including Hari Belanja Nasional Online (Harbolnas), can drive sharp increases in shipment volumes, making timely data and resource planning critical for logistics providers. Indonesia's e-commerce logistics market is projected to reach USD 8.71 billion by 2031, making the ability to scale efficiently increasingly important.
“Adopting OutSystems was not about replacing traditional development. We needed a practical way to modernize applications that had become difficult to maintain and help our teams deliver more efficiently,” said Yogie Lesmana, Head of Enterprise Application Development at Anteraja. “The platform can accelerate development, but strong architecture, good engineering practices and close collaboration with the business remain essential.”
Improving operational visibility, planning and access
AWARE was the first application Anteraja developed with OutSystems. The application consolidates 199 reports from multiple enterprise systems into a single management dashboard, giving operational teams one place to access information that was previously spread across separate reports.
Anteraja also used OutSystems to reduce software costs and build more capability in-house through DataG, an internally developed API management application that replaced a third-party product with annual licensing fees. By bringing this capability in-house, Anteraja eliminated recurring licensing costs, reduced reliance on external software. Performance testing showed that DataG delivered comparable capabilities, allowing Anteraja to retire the external software without affecting operational performance.
In addition to managing cost control, Anteraja improved workforce planning and access to internal services. A forecasting application helps teams anticipate shipment volumes, estimate workforce requirements and allocate resources ahead of peak shopping periods, including Harbolnas and other seasonal campaigns. Employee Hub provides employees across Anteraja’s nationwide operations with more consistent access to internal information and services through a mobile application.
“Anteraja’s experience shows how a platform approach can support practical modernization,” said Arnold Consengco, Regional Vice President for Southeast Asia (SEA) and Greater China at OutSystems. “By bringing critical applications onto a unified foundation, organizations can respond more quickly to current business needs while creating room to explore governed AI and agentic systems as their priorities evolve.”
Exploring practical AI use cases
Anteraja is beginning to explore how AI can support developer productivity and operational efficiency. Early work includes evaluating AI-assisted development tools and initial discussion with OutSystems on potential agentic AI use cases. “AI is an important direction for Anteraja, but we want to begin with clearly defined business needs,” said Anteraja’s Lesmana. “Our focus is on practical use cases that can improve how our teams work and how the business operates. OutSystems has been an important technology partner in modernizing our internal systems, and we look forward to building on that foundation as we assess where AI can deliver meaningful value.”
