A complex IT landscape slowing growth
As a global B2B distributor of tyres and wheels, Global Automotive Group offers a comprehensive range of products and sustainable logistics solutions. However, the group had grown through multiple acquisitions, resulting in five different ERP systems supported by separate IT teams. The result was a complex and fragmented IT landscape.
A commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solution was quickly dismissed. The company's unique business processes, especially its pricing and logistics planning, would not fit a standard, pre-built ERP.
After evaluating multiple options, they chose OutSystems to accelerate the development of a custom-built solution and ensure the platform could evolve with the business.

A custom-built ERP to power business operations
Supported by OutSystems partner Team Resilience, Global Automotive Group built a new, mission-critical, multi-tenant ERP system with a focus on user experience.
The new system, named STIP-1, is custom-built, which gives Global Automotive Group the power to make it truly its own, adjusting it to its business model, products, and marketing. It’s a one-stop solution for all business operations, from purchasing and sales to logistics. The multitenant system supports all of the company's subsidiaries and in all countries.
STIP-1 includes mobile and web apps for warehouse and stock management, and a customer-facing webshop, all operating across different countries in Europe.
