OutSystems (collectively, “OutSystems,” “We,” and “Us”) considers your privacy is paramount and ensures transparency in its procedures. Therefore this Consent Policy (“CP”) has a fundamental role to play allowing you to be informed about what you are consenting to by accepting that your data can be used for marketing communications.

This CP applies to the use of any marketing automation based on the personal data you provided Us to that effect.

Based on the information you provided Us, We will make our best effort to provide you the best experience you ever had. OutSystems, or third parties on our behalf, may contact you with messages about OutSystems products, services, news, events and personalized content or ask your opinions when We conduct research. It will be a way for us to be closer to you, your interests and also a way to enable OutSystems to improve its services.

WHAT INFORMATION ABOUT YOU DO WE USE?

We will process your personal information such as name, company email, job role and phone number. Other data may be used, depending on the source through which you consented its use for marketing purposes.

WHAT ARE THE CHANNELS FROM WHICH WE GET YOUR CONSENT?

You interact with our brand across all the different sources having the opportunity to consent to OutSystems’ marketing communications:

  • Directly: through our website (whether or not you come from an imbedded page through which you arrived at an OutSystems’ website) or through any other OutSystems online/offline channels.

HOW DO WE DO IT?

In order to provide you with a personalized experience, We will create a profile based on your information.

To create this profile, We will store and analyze your personal data, including personal information such as name, company, email, or phone number that We collect through our website, for example, when you request a demo, register for a webinar, contact Us, subscribe to our email newsletter, download content, or register to use our website. Or even information that We collect from you offline, such as when you attend one of our events.

Your preferences and interests that we collect through consented cookies and other similar technologies or through the information that you share with Us in the Preference Center or Community Profile.

In order to enhance our ability to provide relevant content for you, We may obtain information about you from other sources, such as public databases, joint marketing partners, social media platforms, as well as other third parties.

WHO DO WE GIVE INFORMATION TO?

We may share your data with any member of OutSystems Group who supports our processing of personal data under this PC.

We will keep the profiles We create secure, and We will not share them with any third parties other than those that We engage to provide services and process your personal information on our behalf, such as analytics platform providers, and only for the purposes and on the lawful grounds.

Your consent also covers the authorization to share your data with OutSystems Partners that do not act on our behalf (for example sharing personal data to a partner, responsible for the page through which you arrived at the OutSystems’ page). In this case, your information will be subject to the partners’ respective privacy statements and OutSystems is not responsible for the actions of such third parties.

To facilitate our global operations, We may transfer and access your personal information around the world, including the United States. Our Privacy Statement shall apply even if we transfer your personal information to other countries or to third parties.

DATA SUBJECTS’ RIGHTS

You are in charge, meaning that, just as your consent was voluntary, you can also voluntarily change your preferences or unsubscribe at any time. Moreover, all our marketing communications also include opt-out instructions to that effect.

Anyway, if you regret unsubscribing, you can always subscribe to our marketing communications again to get back and be up-to-date on any OutSystems content that we consider to be of interest.

You also reserve the right to have personal data rectified or deleted, just as you have the right of access and the right to raise any concerns.
