Service changes available upon request

OutSystems Cloud customers can request the following service changes. All service changes have a target delivery time of 5 business days from the time the request is submitted via OutSystems Support with the necessary information, unless otherwise specified.

Servers
- Rename an environment*
- Reorder environments*
- Scale up/down a database* (downtime required)
- Scale up/down a front-end server*
- Add/remove a front-end server*
- Activate a database replica (only available for High Availability customers; downtime required)
- Database restore (production environments only; downtime required): target delivery 1 business day, or within 24 hours with 24x7 Support
- Temporary access to database backup: target delivery 1 business day, or within 24 hours with 24x7 Support
Networking
- Configure DNS*
- Add/remove an IP address for database access*
- Direct database access*
- Connect to an existing AWS Transit Gateway*
- Set up AWS DirectConnect*
- Set up a VPN, Reconfigure a VPN, or Deactivate a VPN*
Security
- Install a client-side certificate
- Add a certificate to a trusted root store*
- Enable SSL/TLS
- Enforce HTTPS security
- Configure an internal network*
- Reset credentials: target delivery 1 business day, or within 24 hours with 24x7 Support
- Add database encryption (for some older deployments--all databases deployed since July 2021 have been encrypted by default; downtime required)
Software Updates
- Perform a major or minor version upgrade of the OutSystems Platform software (downtime required)
- Reschedule Operating System updates/patches (about maintenance windows): target delivery 2 business days, or <48 hours with 24x7 Support
*Service not available for customers with Basic edition.
Delivery of these services is subject to scheduling with OutSystems Support and resource availability. Actual delivery times may vary due to factors outside of OutSystems’ control. Services requiring downtime are scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time. Weekend scheduling is only available for customers with 24x7 Support.
