More data, less injuries: Podium Analytics reinvents youth sports
Damian Smith, CTO at Podium Analytics
Podium Analytics is a charity started by the principal of the F1 McLaren racing team, Ron Dennis, to reduce the number of incidents and overall impact of sports injuries on young people.
The NGO teams up with schools and clubs to capture data and provide recommendations on how to respond in case of injury. However, professors and coaches didn’t have an easy way to gather this data when an injury occurred. That was until Podium released SportSmart.
Watch the video where Damian Smith, Podium’s CTO, explains how SportSmart is transforming youth sports and why he chose the OutSystems platform to build it.
