Project Inventory management
Inventory management covering incoming materials (receipts), picking of outgoing materials (OWO), and outbound shipments. This is supported by a back-office application integrated with Microsoft Dynamics AX, along with a mobile scanning app.
Installation Process Documentation and PDF Gen
It was required that, after completing the installation of products such as an air conditioner or heat pump, a technician could send an installation document to the customer. This document must include all details entered by the technician in the installation app, including all photos taken during the project. A key feature of this process is that the document also includes signatures from both the technician and the customer. The technician’s signature is automatically retrieved from the system, while the customer provides their signature at the end of the process within the installation app. Once the process is completed, the customer can expect to receive the installation document by email shortly thereafter, with the document attached as a PDF file. Different installation document templates are used for each product group.
Integration of an Acquired Sales Process
A company was recently acquired with a sales process that proved to be more efficient and generated higher sales than our current process. Therefore, it was logical to integrate this process into our existing system. A key feature of this process was the introduction of a down payment step within the quotation process, which was not previously supported in our system. Additionally, when a quotation is cancelled, the associated down payment must also be cancelled to prevent any unwarranted charges. All related payment links must be deactivated. If a payment has already been made, the down payment amount must be refunded.
