Enhancement of an automotive auction platform to improve the reliability and availability of vehicle images. The solution replaced an unreliable photo retrieval process with a new API-based integration using cloud-hosted image sources, helping address missing vehicle photos and ensuring more consistent access to images across vehicle listings.
An improved version of the scorecard was developed, covering new engine rules for a different customer layer and improving performance and scalability.
The project consists on a SCORECARD based on specific scorecard business rules that were translated from an Excel spreadsheet, so migrating from a very rudimentary and manual process to an automated API using also some of the FIN core services available via integration.
The project ensured a solid baseline architecture based on the customer roadmap and the new architecture patterns from ODC, ensuring a good foundation.
